Describe one habit that brings you joy.
This is an easy one to answer WP.
Taking my dog out first thing. I love it!
Before we drive to a vast green open space, we’ll head to a nearby wooded area. It gives Patch the chance to check out the hood and for me to breathe in the fresh air. To fill my lungs with a new day

As we walk, I pick over the remnants of last night’s dreams still swirling in my head. Some days, the images and feelings are stronger than others. I may think about them for a minute or two and then let them go.
All the senses come alive, and to be enshrouded in greenery is like going home.
The birds, the squirrels, and creatures I cannot see are going about their day. It’s a pleasure to feel their presence. To be part of their world.
Each morning to be deep in nature, to see how the season is panning out and what plans are being made for the next one is quite something.
To share this moment with my best buddy is priceless.
Love 🧡😘

You’re most welcome. Taking our own dog for a walk is one of my favourite things. We live on the ocean, so beach walks at low tide are a big deal. The smell of the sea, sound of the waves … all pretty soothing.

I recently took my boy for a beach holiday. He loved it so much. To live besides the sea must be quite something! Thanks for dropping in x

Mostly living where we do, is wonderful. Beach walks, sunsets is pretty special. It does and has become a bit of a ride during hurricane season. Often one will get going in the Caribbean; chure up the east coast of the US and hit an impact on us in Nova Scotia. Hurricane Fiona two years ago wasn’t very much fun. It was like a freight train roaring by your front door all night along and into the next day. We lost our power for two days. Others in the province lost power for upwards of a week.

Extreme weather completely freaks me out. I’ll stay safe in the woods in England, I think. x
