If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?

His temperamental streak stayed with him from childhood, incredibly complex and totally driven. This demanding forceful speaker with strong opinions was also a devoted friend.

The Irish poet, dramatist, writer and literary critic W.B Yates ( 1865~1939) said –

” No man I have ever known was so well loved”

William Morris (1834~1896) is my main man from history.

This visionary leader, designer,prolific writer, poet, and environmental and architectural conservationists was also committed revolutionary socialist. And it was his socialist views that were often debated at the time. But this charismatic man, passionate about beauty, craftsmanship, and social justice, won the day.

He was a principled idealist with a keen sense of justice and fairness.

And he strove to make the world a more beautiful and equitable place.

How I would have loved to be around his  immense creative energy.
