Do you need a break? From what?
A little break from the ageing process would be cool.
All those formative years aching to be older, like it was a superpower. Then you get there, and maybe it’s not so magical after all?
I’m enjoying slow living now, absolutely loving it, but it’s going far too quickly. I had no idea! I thought being older would give me all this free time. The days would be endless, maybe to the extent of having time on my hands. Not a chance.
Bam and another day has gone. Pretty damn freaky tbh.

Because we fill our days with ‘doing’. But a slower pace is so nice.

Time seems to pass faster as we age. You have defined well how it seems when we are older. Sometimes I feel like I am going to meet myself walking down the hall going to bed or getting out of bed. lol

I was doing some ‘housekeeping’ on my blog and noticed that this DP has appeared twice before. I was inspired to respond the first time. The second time, I reblogged another blogger’s post, with their permission, of course! But a third time, come on, WordPress. Although I do realise that if you’re new to WP, it’s a different story!

I just thought of the saying that “Time flies when you’re having fun”, and I do wonder as I am getting older, and I enjoy myself more and more, and having fun in a way that I actually prefer — that makes time go faster. Which is annoying, because if I want to have fun, i want to slow it down and make it last forever, right?

I have a feeling that after your 30s you’re like going down a roller coaster. 😁 Maybe that’s just my humble opinion. You don’t even turn around…you’re already somewhere…but it’s important not to forget to enjoy the journey!😊

Just like days or hours, some pass quickly and some very slowly. So does our life. But we always live in the present moment. Yesterday is the past, the future is unknown. The important thing is to enjoy life. 😊 Have a nice day! 🌲
