Share a proverb you think is completely wrong and make your case.

‘Time heals all wounds’
I wondered who in their deluded wisdom came up with that.
AI came up with the answer..as they know it.
Menander (c. 342ā290 BCE) ā A Greek dramatist whose line ātime is the healer of all necessary evilsā is cited as an early form of the idea.
Terence (c. 190ā159 BCE) ā A Roman playwright whose Latin line āDiem adimere aegritudinem hominibusā (ātime assuages human ailmentsā) is widely credited as the origin of the proverbās modern form.
I will stick with the ever wise and wonderful Eleanor Roosevelt’s idea being
‘You never really get over grief. You learn to live with it’

Agree! In my opinionā¦Time may blur the edges of grief but never truly heals it. Time brings me new coping mechanisms but no true healing.
Hope your day is off to a great start! š

I’m not sure time heals too but though the wound fades, memories remain
