This morning, my beautiful boy went on his merry way to a better place.

Sweetness, my heart is truly broken.

Thank you for being my best buddy and companion. I will miss you. I do miss you.

Edit. Patch was with me on my bid to freedom. Both of us had stumbled down a rocky road together and came out the other side.. It was brand new ground for us both. We loved it!

I look for you in each room- you’re not there.

I cannot get my head around this. Where are you babe?

I call your name, but your face doesn’t  appear ground the door.

Conspicuous by your absence. I am missing you. It hurts.

  2. I’m so sorry and sad. Being a fellow dog lover, I know how hard it is when our closest companion dies. From reading your posts, I get the impression that you and Patch had an extra-special relationship. I’m sure you ensured he had the best possible life. Sending big hugs xxx

      • Patch is scared of his new life and the unfamiliarity. but hearing your voice will reassure him. I always tell people that the human’s real job, as an owner, begins by helping their sweet angel along in the transition and letting them know that they are there. Patch’s only way of saying he loves you is through your grief and the sudden pangs of emotion. Be well and take care – at this time, both of you will be each other’s foundation. ❤

  9. Oh so sorry to read this 😢 he will be up there dreaming of all his lovely walks with you and his holidays in Cornwall running on the beach. He was one lucky doggy! Hope you’re ok. Love Layla (and Josh and Bear) xxx
