In your dreams

Do you believe in soulmates? Why or why not?

For as long as I can remember, I have dreamt vividly. There are times when the next day I will see flashes/moments of the night, or even the night before, dreams.

Like everyone, you wonder where it all comes from.

Occasionally, I will feel the presence of a man at my side as the dream progresses. He is solid and strong. He expects nothing from me. It is a totally unconditional alignment of souls. There, at that moment, a unique closeness. Incredible.

  1. Reading this made me wonder if soulmates are less about finding another person and more about encountering a resonance so deep that it feels familiar before it arrives.

Dreams have a strange way of bypassing logic and speaking directly to the parts of us we don’t fully understand. The figure you describe feels almost archetypal – not demanding, not possessing, not needing anything in return. Just present.

Perhaps that is why the idea of soulmates endures. Not because we are searching for perfection, but because somewhere within us is the hope that such effortless recognition is possible.

Your dream captures that hope beautifully Joey. Well done.
